Overview:
Busy independent Auto Repair shop in Concord area is seeking an experienced service writer. Please read qualifications. Pay based on experience and interview. Full benefits, Paid time off, 401k.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's workflow
- Communicate with technicians to ensure accurate and timely completion of repairs
- Provide estimates for services and obtain customer approval
- Explain repair recommendations to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Coordinate with parts department to ensure necessary parts are available for repairs
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and payments

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive service or related field
- Knowledge of automobile parts catalogs, vehicle maintenance, repairs, and tires.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping
- Customer Service skills
